I have #NoReservations on this recommendation: Reservations by Kindle Alexander

Title: Reservations
Author: Kindle Alexander
Genre: M/M Romance
Release Date: October 30, 2017

Amazon Review - ““Reservations” by Kindle Alexander is a rare gem in the world of M/M Romance, because it is genuinely compelling story telling!”
Amazon Review - “Thane & Levi stole my heart!!”
Amazon Review - “Thane and Levi!! Simply amazing”
Amazon Review - “A beautifully written love story that is guaranteed to melt you heart!”
Wildly successful entrepreneur, Thane Walker is stubbornly set in his ways. Adamantly resistant to the shackles of commitment, he’s seen enough unhappy endings to learn the best way to play is by keeping his men on the payroll.
Levi Silva’s dream of graduating from one of the country’s top medical schools is in his grasp, until news from home changes everything. Now, he’s raising his two teenage brothers and trying to keep everyone’s head above water, emotionally and financially.
When Levi’s new job puts him in Thane’s path, their chemistry explodes, but their fear of being involved in relationships keeps them apart. Unfortunately, despite the intense desire drawing them together, neither man can move forward until they get past their own…Reservations.

I recently commented that I was a fluffy butt reader. When I described what that is I illustrated as "guarantee HEA, just enough story tension to keep you engaged, plenty of steam and leave you with a big ol' grin". Now I wish I could have said:

Read Reservations

Because Kindle Alexander delivers this with a check in every box plus more! I've been enamored with Kindle's writing since the first time I cracked open the spine of Always. They are a 'one click' author for me, and the latest in Reservations gave me exactly what I wanted.

Normally I finish a book with a newly minted book boyfriend in my posse.  Damn, seriously I cannot choose. First I was all over Levi - because cute boy next door and firm family values. He's one of those characters that may fit into a prescribed box of 'hard to get'.  Maybe Levi is, but Kindle Alexander gives you insight without drowning you in details that you completely understand his position in entering any relationship. And Thane was being well...an unintentional jerk but I still wanted to kick his ass. When he is accustomed to having life deliver his relationships in a clearly defined manner, he unsure how to tread this new ocean. And that is what I love to read in a a character transformation ~ the steady made unsteady.  However, Kindle Alexander gives us a Pinocchio transformation in Thane that you can't help but want him to win his man! * Swoon * And Levi...yeah don't let those innocent looks fool you because HOT DAMN!

As a huge fan of all the previous books, it's a joy to see characters you've previously loved hop into the story.  However, Kindle Alexander doesn't feel like you've missed out if you've not previously read. As always, they bring characters to full life and give the reader an experience of these wonderful secondary characters. This is delivered at the start of the story so you don't feel as though you've missed something along with way. All these characters lend to the story the necessary ingredients to keep you flipping page after page. Especially Julian - which HINT he needs his story next!

If you are new to Kindle Alexander and looking for something to make your heart happy, dive right into this read. I'll suggest you then go back to read Always and Secret - okay DEFINITELY Secret.   If you are a fan, you won't be disappointed with yet another love story that will leave you grinning.  Fans will enjoy seeing favorite characters pop in and out, but have a brand new couple to rave about.

5 out of 5 stars

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.

Release Day A Little Bit Crazy: I am ALOT Crazy for B Cranford

Title: A Little Bit Crazy
Author: B. Cranford
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 2, 2017

Blurb

The biggest mistake Jade Miller ever made was agreeing to a date with the World’s Biggest Jackass…

Stood up, fuming and, frankly, done with men, Jade’s not about to forgive or forget.

Except, with the voices in her head giving her conflicting ideas, and the man himself showing his smart, sexy, swoony side, she’s having a hard time staying away.

The stupidest thing Declan Young ever did was forget to make that phone call...

“Hey, I’m running a little late” could have saved him a year of frustration—sexual and otherwise—at the hands of a certain pink-haired spitfire.

All he wants is another chance, another night—the possibility of making it right. Which he’s determined to get.

The craziest thing is they’re crazy about each other...

Jade would rather believe that they’re enemies.
Declan knows they’re something more.

And that makes them both feel a little bit crazy…

My Review

It would be fairly ludicrous for me to minimize my enthusiasm for the follow-up to The Brightest Star. Let me clarify: This book completely stands alone and no reason to 'need' to read book 1. However, I will state you are missing out if you don't read The Brightest Star. But back to the task at hand...my review of A Little Bit Crazy.

I'm always a fan of the smart ass secondary characters. (Met me?) I can relate to their snappy dialogue and enjoy their unfiltered dispensing of wisdom. Jade and Declan gave that and more in Sebastian and Brighton's story. I felt an instant kinship to Declan and begged the author for MORE. And she delivered. In KU Korner's Bedtime Stories.  To date one of my favorite stories there affectionately known as:

#staplergate

So to the delight of this fangirl, she took #staplergate and gave the readers as perfectly executed second chance story.  Unlike other second chance stories where there is unending drama as to why our beloved couple aren't together from the start, this story starts off with relatable scenario - I lost track of time. Typical dude move. Well, our heroine isn't going to be an afterthought - so blew it and to the curb with Declan.  And that's where the story takes off to a will he/won't he be able to make up for being a distracted man.

But more than a romantic comedy, Ms Cranford offers a story with heart. You learn that Declan is ACTUALLY not that dude and is a good guy who made a mistake. The reader also learns that Jade isn't all snappy dialogue and to-die-for heels, but a flesh and blood person with a few reasons not to full trust this feeling.

Oh...don't worry...we get plenty more of #staplergate worthy scenes.

Ms. Cranford shows the reader she is more than contemporary romance and can expand her writing skills to give the readers giggles, gasps and a few tears. Perfectly paced and never dragging - this story keeps you engaged. Whether or not you've read her debut, this is a story you'll want to pick up and buy because you'll find it as a re-read for when you need a well-balanced story. 5 out of 5 stars.

Author Bio

B. Cranford is a proud Australian living in the USA, a lover of books, breadsticks and bed, and the mother of two children who are far too similar to their father for her liking. A lifelong reader, she dove into the romance genre on the recommendation of her best friend and hasn’t looked back since. After three years as a blogger, she decided it was high time she finally finished one of the 12,002 books she’d started writing, and the end result was The Brightest Star.
